Virginia Wood

Virginia has a passion for the power of functional medicine, functional testing and the role these play in health optimisation. She began her career in paramedicine before transitioning to functional medicine over a decade ago. She holds a BSc (Hons) Nutritional Therapy degree with a further Masters in a specialised branch of nutrition. Over the span of her functional medicine career, she has worked in integrative clinical practice, in tertiary education and most recently in a lead clinical specialism role with Nordic Laboratories and dnalife. She has a wealth of experience and practical knowledge in the interpretation of both functional and genetic tests, having supported hundreds of practitioners with their patients’ test results.
