Dr Venita Patel is an experienced Paediatrician working in a large NHS Community Paediatric department in London, where she specialises in neurodevelopmental conditions, and in childhood obesity and growth. 

Venita is additionally a well established Nutritional Therapist, taking a 'whole-child' approach to a wide variety of childhood health concerns in her 'Health Via Nutrition' clinics. She has a deep awareness of the wider context of children's health and wellbeing, and is intuitive in how she makes her assessments.She also uses biochemical, cellular and genetic tests in her clinic to assess and address the underlying cause of the presenting health issue.

Venita is a respected voice in holistic child health, wellbeing and nutrition, having long combined her conventional training with a variety of integrated and complementary practices.

Venita enjoys teaching and presenting on a range of paediatric health and wellbeing subjects to both colleagues and parents alike, and has been an invited guest on several podcasts.
