Dr Tasha Gandamihardja
Dr Tasha Gandamihardja is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon who is helping to reshape how cancer recovery is understood. With over a decade of experience caring for people with breast cancer from diagnosis through treatment and beyond, her work questions a long-standing assumption in oncology: that finishing treatment equates to recovery.
Her focus is on the complex and often invisible challenges of survivorship, including fear of recurrence, disrupted identity, and the difficulty many patients face in moving forward after cancer. By integrating clinical expertise with lifestyle medicine and mindset-based approaches, Dr Tasha advocates for a more complete model of cancer care, one that extends beyond cure to support long-term wellbeing and quality of life.
Through her public education and thought leadership, she is reframing survivorship not as an afterthought, but as a critical phase of cancer care.
Dr. Tasha Gandamihardja will be speaking in the Integrative Oncology Conference taking place on Friday 19th June 2026. The full conference programmes will be announced in February 2026.
