Siân has over a decade of experience in Social Prescribing and currently serves as Chair of the National Social Prescribing Network. As a freelance consultant, she supported the East of England Regional NHS Social Prescribing from 2018 to 2022 in developing and embedding evidence-based, high-quality, and safe social prescribing practices. Additionally, she is a national Level 3 social prescribing tutor and is deeply committed to asset-based approaches for community health and well-being, with a focus on driving cultural change to support individuals.

Throughout her career, Siân has facilitated the development of collaborative models of social prescribing at a national level and contributed to key national guidance, such as the English national competency framework and supervision support for Link Workers. Her work also extends internationally, supporting the growth and advancement of social prescribing globally.

With more than 15 years' experience in local NHS commissioning grounded in public health, Siân possesses extensive expertise in the voluntary and community sector, as well as in health creation. A consistent theme throughout her career is fostering partnership working and collaboration across local systems. She is trained in quality improvement methodology, applying these skills to drive transformational change within organisations, most recently in Primary Care and PCNs.

Siân is the co-author of a newly validated BSc in Health, Wellbeing & Community, reflecting her commitment to non-medical, community-focused, preventative, and salutogenic approaches to positive health creation.

Based in Essex, England, Siân enjoys walking in nature, qigong, yoga, and photography. She is also a qualified, accredited health coach.
