Dr Sandy Rhee is a physician who is board-certified in Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Currently she is Department Chair of Psychiatry and Course Director of Culinary Medicine at Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr Rhee's interests in culinary medicine is to educate medical students, physicians, and the community about how we can add more nutritious foods to our lifestyle.

Dr Rhee teaches medical students the Culinary Medicine elective and it's been quite a success at the medical school. They do virtual cooking workshops, potlucks related to patient cases. Many students share personal and family members who have had medical issues, and to see what the student would recommend for the personal cases, how to modify one's cultural recipes and apply diets such as a Mediterranean diet. It has been a great experience so far, students are very interested and want to continue to make lifestyle changes and help their patient make these changes for their physical and mental health.
