
Dr Sam Watts
Clinician of Ayurvedic and Natural Medicine and a Western Trained Cancer Researcher; Director of Mind-Body Medical; Author of 'The Ayurvedic Approach to Cancer', UK
Dr Sam Watts is a clinician of Ayurvedic and natural medicine and a Western trained cancer researcher. He worked at the University of Southampton’s School of Medicine for over ten years during which time he completed his PhD. He has led large scale NHS funded cancer-survivorship focused clinical trials in several leading hospitals including Southampton General Hospital, the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth and University College London Hospitals NHS Trust. He has published research in leading academic journals and has presented his work at leading integrative health and cancer specific conferences across Europe. In 2017 Sam was awarded the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Young Researcher of the Year award for his research into prostate cancer survivorship.
