Penny Kechagioglou
Dr Kechagioglou is the Chief Clinical Information Officer, deputy Chief Medical Officer and Consultant Clinical Oncologist at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. She is also the Chief Medical Officer for Icon UK, the Vice-Chair of the Digital Health Networks CCIO Advisory Panel and executive member of the UK Digital Health and Care. Her research and professional interest is in healthcare innovation, digital health, leadership and lifestyle medicine. She has completed a Doctorate degree in Business Administration at Warwick Business School with a focus on Innovation and Leadership in Healthcare and is the author of the Springer book 'Healthcare Innovation Success: learning from organisational experience'. She has also competed an MSc in Public Health and Health Management at the University of London, an MBA from Bradford University and a PGDip in Digital Health from NHS Digital Academy (Imperial College). Penny is an undergraduate and postgraduate tutor, lecturer, mentor and professional health coach and is an advisory member for the WHO Academy for Lifelong Learning in Health. She has co-chaired the British Society for Integrative Oncology (2021-23) and she now co-chairs the BSIO education committee with a view to expand UK healthcare professional education on preventive, lifestyle and personalised patient care. She is the co-author of the Springer book 'Integrative Oncology in Breast Cancer Care', co-founder of the ONCIO CIC, the first ever Integrative Oncology app and she chairs the National Centre for Integrative Oncology charity.
