
Michael Lupson
Michael started his career as a police officer in Greater Manchester before moving into the into the ombudsman sector. His first role in regulation was as a Lay Case Examiner at Social Work England, a role he still fills today. Alongside this, Michael sits on the Independent Decision-Making Body of the Bar Standards Board, on the Investigating Committee of the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and on the Disciplinary Tribunal for the regulator of Chartered Legal Executives.
As a keen runner, Michael has utilised complementary healthcare to keep him on the road, so has first-hand experience of the impact that accessing such care has on people’s lives.
