Mark Sean Taylor
Mark Sean Taylor studied Maths, Statistics, and Economics at Warwick University and earned an MBA from the University of Hong Kong. He spent 20 years working in finance and technology in New York, London, and Hong Kong before being diagnosed with minimal residual pancreatic cancer via circulating tumor cells in 2016.
After being rejected for standard-of-care medicine—since his cancer levels fell below what mainstream protocols recognize for a formal diagnosis—he turned to integrative medicine as an initial skeptic. He has since invested over $500,000 USD in treatments and tests with numerous integrative doctors worldwide. Realizing many struggled to keep up with the latest research, he founded an integrative oncology research company that collaborates with leading experimental oncologists globally.
As part of his work, he also launched the patient-led Oncology Facebook group, tracking responses from hundreds of cancer patients to nearly every well-known integrative treatment. Through this, he's identified effective, data-supported approaches backed by patient reports and research. He shares his findings via his blogs at Patient-Led Oncology Trials and www.patientledoncology.com, plus an online portal at www.hackingcancer.health/landing featuring an AI chatbot to help patients and doctors navigate the vast, ever-changing world of integrative oncology.
