Judit Wesseling is a clinical paediatrician certified in General Paediatrics and Lifestyle Medicine. Her special field of interest is paediatric  asthma and allergy. She works at the multidisciplinary Rijnstate Allergy Centre in Arnhem, the Netherlands. She contributed to the national Guideline Asthma in Children by the Dutch Society of Pediatrics (2013). Since then she is  active in embedding lifestyle and integrative approaches into paediatric care. Judit Wesseling is involved in research in developing a lifestyle intervention tool for children with asthma in the Netherlands.

Since 2019, Rijnstate Hospital is a member of the Dutch Consortium Integrative Care and Health (CIZG), making it one of the first hospitals in the Netherlands to structurally integrate IM and lifestyle consultations into standard care.

As a teacher, Judit Wesseling is involved in several national education programs on Integrative Medicine in Pediatrics. Her teaching and curriculum development are directly shaping how the next generation of pediatricians views integrative and lifestyle medicine.
