Dr. Ines von Rosenstiel is a Dutch paediatrician and internationally recognized pioneer in integrative medicine. Her work focuses on bridging conventional paediatric and oncological care with safe, evidence-informed complementary approaches to improve quality of life and clinical outcomes for children and families.
She obtained her medical degree from Leiden University and completed her specialist training in Paediatrics, followed by a fellowship in Paediatric Intensive Care at Amsterdam UMC. Over the course of her career, Dr. von Rosenstiel has developed a strong expertise in integrative and lifestyle medicine, emphasizing the roles of nutrition, stress management, and environmental health in disease prevention and recovery.
In addition to her implementation of integrative pediatrics nationwide, she leads an Integrative Oncology consultation service and is actively engaged in national and international networks advancing integrative approaches within mainstream healthcare. Her leadership and educational activities focus on enhancing communication, mutual respect, and evidence-based integration between different health paradigms.
Dr. von Rosenstiel contributes to several medical and academic boards,is an engaged founding member of the Dutch Consortium of Integrative medicine and health, and regularly lectures at national and international conferences on topics including integrative paediatrics, oncology, and planetary health. Her work exemplifies how collaboration across disciplines can strengthen compassionate, holistic, and sustainable models of healthcare.
