Iain began a lengthy career in the NHS qualifying as a nurse and working in a range of clinical settings before holding several management and leadership roles. He has also worked closely with the Care Quality Commission, supporting hospitals to improve services for patients. Iain has held a number of executive board level and chief executive roles within the NHS; also working in a non-executive role as a charity board trustee. 

Developing a strong respect for complementary therapies and having seen the benefit and contribution they can make as a partner in services for patients, Iain has an energy, drive and commitment to see the professions CNHC registers become an integral part of mainstream health and social care services.
