Dr. Heidi Weinhold received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Washington & Jefferson College, and received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in Tempe, Arizona. In 2013 she received the Alumni Award from Sonoran University of Health Sciences in recognition of her contribution towards the advancement of Naturopathic Medicine. Her alma mater further honored her in 2017 with an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.  Dr. Weinhold received the 2017 Physician of the Year Award from the Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Physicians. For over a decade, Dr. Weinhold served as Legislative Chair for the Pennsylvania Association of Naturopathic Medicine, championing efforts to license naturopathic doctors in the state. Dr. Weinhold has been published in several journals and wrote the chapter on Integrative Medicine for the 4th edition of Mosby’s Oncology Nursing Advisor and the 8th edition of the Oncology Nursing Society Core Curriculum.  Dr. Weinhold has a private practice located in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.  She specializes in natural modalities to manage autoimmune conditions, to help manage side effects during conventional cancer treatment, and to help relieve stress and anxiety.
