Erin Louise Bellamy
Dr Erin Louise Bellamy is a Chartered Psychologist, Metabolic Psychiatry practitioner and researcher and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of East London, United Kingdom. She holds a PhD in Psychology specialising in Ketogenic Diets and Depression as well as an MSc in Psychiatric Research with a research focus on alexithymia in eating disorders. She is both an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Society of Metabolic Health Practitioners.
Since 2014, Erin has been researching the ketogenic diet and has been implementing Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy with clients for physical and mental health conditions since 2017.
She is most interested in how we can use the ketogenic diet, ketone increasing protocols and other metabolic therapies to improve mental health outcomes. Alongside her clinical work she continues to research and contribute to the metabolic psychiatry field through publications and she provides training to healthcare professionals on both the science and application of Metabolic Psychiatry in practice.
