Dr Emily Prpa is an Award-Winning Nutritionist with a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from King’s College London. Her research focuses on the efficacy of novel functional foods for disease treatment and prevention (see summary
here). Her research has been published in the Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry among other scientific journals, and she is the author of a Nutrition Policy Brief for Parliamentarians on the public health effects of food reformulation (read
here). Today, Emily leads the Yakult Science UK & Ireland in communicating research on the relationship between the gut microbiota, probiotics, and health to HCPs.
