Clemmie Oliver
Clemmie Oliver is a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr), Nutritional Therapist (mBANT), and Founder of the Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (NALM) Clinic, a specialist clinic dedicated to improving the lives of people living with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
Alongside her clinical practice, Clemmie is proud to be part of the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) online network of trusted voices, Fides — a global group of healthcare communicators committed to promoting accurate, evidence-based health information and countering misinformation.
Clemmie regularly delivers corporate wellbeing programmes and speaks for organisations around the world on a wide range of nutrition topics. She also present at medical education and patient-focused conferences, helping both professionals and individuals translate nutrition science into realistic and impactful strategies.
Clemmie founded the NALM Clinic in 2018 to address a clear gap in personalised dietary support for people with Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. The clinic provides compassionate, evidence-informed nutritional care aimed at optimising intake, reducing nutrient deficiencies, broadening food tolerance, reducing anxiety around eating, and improving symptom control and overall quality of life. They work collaboratively with patients and clinical teams to ensure cohesive care and better outcomes.
Uniquely, several clinicians at The NALM Clinic, including herself, live with IBD, giving them a deep and empathetic understanding of the challenges their patients face. Her expertise is further supported by postgraduate research in IBD at the University of Aberdeen.
Clemmie is passionate about elevating the role of personalised nutrition in IBD management and advocating for earlier, more equitable access to dietetic support across IBD services.
