Clare Grundel
Clare is an experienced nutrition practitioner, and a regular speaker on BBC Radio Cambridge. She completed a MSc in Nutritional Therapy in 2018. She joined the BANT team in 2017 as the Science and Education Manager, delivering evidence- based resources to the BANT membership and the wider healthcare community. She is the Managing Editor of the Nutrition Evidence Database (NED) and regularly represents BANT at exhibitions targeted at the medical community. Clare is the principal investigator in a current prospective longitudinal observational study, collecting real-world evidence of the impact of individualised nutritional therapy services on adult patient self-reported symptomology associated with functional bowel disorders, including IBS.
Clare’s area of clinical expertise is digestive health and chronic pain and she lectures on arthritis and chronic pain. Through her on-line practice, she reaches individuals across the UK. She works in collaboration with General Practitioners for the best and safe care of her clients and achieves measurable improvements in health outcomes.
