Sam Burkey will highlight how yoga practice can help release unresolved stress responses in the body, ease associated muscular tensions and holding patterns and establish breathing techniques which are highly effective tools for managing strong emotions and feelings. Research demonstrates that yoga can consciously 'shift' the nervous system, enhancing vagal efficiency, concentrating focus and providing greater agency over the body’s arising sensations.
