Kenko’s journey began at home, through family and personal health challenges that required care beyond what the conventional healthcare system could provide. When loved ones fall seriously ill and their lives are at stake, people will do whatever it takes to help them. This was Kenko’s experience.

Like the people they serve, the team behind Kenko are real people with families and loved ones. They have experienced the uncertainty of life and death through the health of their own families and have been told there was nothing more that could be done. Their experience showed them that there were other possibilities, and today, Kenko exists to help practitioners find those answers and support their patients on their journey towards better health.

Kenko (健康) means “health” in Japanese, and supporting health is at the heart of everything the company does. Kenko is committed to supporting practitioners in their work to help their patients, while bringing the respect, care and attention associated with Japanese culture to every health journey.

Co-founded by a functional medicine practitioner and a nutritional therapist, Kenko exists to serve practitioners like them. The company understands the challenges of running a modern clinic and provides a “white glove” experience, combining seamless testing logistics with personalised, practitioner-first service.
