This 20-minute talk supports healthcare professionals to guide people and patients through lifestyle health changes with greater clarity and compassion.
Grounded in a Psychology-informed approach and aligned with the BSLM six pillars of Lifestyle Medicine, mental wellbeing, healthy eating, physical activity, sleep, minimising harmful substances, and healthy relationships. This session explores how understanding familiar behavioural patterns, resistance to change, emotions, and context can support more sustainable wellbeing and weight-management intentions, goals and behaviours.
The talk will be followed by a 10-minute reflective Q&A session.
