Nutraceuticals
A review of the evidence on the link between nutrition, botanical compounds and gut disorders. Our workshop will discuss the up-to-date scientific research on key ingredients and formulations and their effect in human digestive health, including IBS, IBD and SIBO. Our expert speakers will discuss versatile ingredients such Curcumin, green tea and powerful herbs including Xanthohumol (from hops) and other botanical compounds. We will also present preliminary data of a randomised placebo control trial of a natural supplement in IBS. Gut Health is a broad term covering many conditions, but possible resolutions need to be more accurately targeted.
