At-home breath testing to understand the gut microbiome

06 Jun 2024

Health Tech , Gut Health

Hydrogen and methane gases in exhaled breath are produced by the fermentation of undigested sugars in the gut microbiome. Join us to learn more about how a portable breath tester can allow you to detect hydrogen and methane gas in the breath anytime, anywhere. By evaluating these gases in conjunction with lifestyle factors and symptoms, you can gain insight into potential causes, such as small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), lactose intolerance (milk), fructose intolerance (fruit), or other underlying factors.
