Environmental pollution, untested chemicals, and myriad toxicants are ubiquitous in our environment and are affecting our health in a vast variety of ways. Becoming aware and adept at recognizing the impacts of environmental toxicants on health, understanding how to identify the toxicant(s), and being capable of clinically addressing this huge problem is now mandatory for all healthcare professionals. This presentation will detail why every healthcare professional must include environmental medicine in their practice.
